Dr. Bianca Varvara
Dr Bianca Varvara is a distinguished dental professional with extensive aesthetic and restorative dentistry expertise. Based in Cluj Napoca, Romania, she has over a decade of experience delivering high-quality dental care and advancing the field through research and education.
As a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Dr Bianca demonstrated an early commitment to academic excellence. Immediately after graduating in 2013, The university appointed her an Associate Assistant Professor in Dental Propaedeutics and Aesthetics. Currently specializing in Prosthodontics, she is also pursuing her PhD, focusing her research on the Optical properties of restorative dental materials based on resin composites.
Dr Bianca Varvara holds a prestigious position in the international dental community. In 2022, she became a certified member of the European Society of Esthetic Dentistry (ESCD), the only female dentist in Romania to achieve this recognition. She is also an active member of the Romanian Society of Esthetic Dentistry (SSER) and is a mentor for its certification program. Her clinical excellence was recognized at the international level when she won the European 1st prize in the Senior category of the “Essentia Academic Excellence Contest,” organized by GC Europe.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Bianca dedicates herself to scientific research and education and has authored multiple scientific articles. She has written numerous scientific articles. Moreover, she has led various studies on the optical properties of natural dental structures. Additionally, she has researched layering techniques of resin-based restorative materials, including CAD/CAM technologies. Since 2016, Dr Bianca has actively contributed to the dental community by presenting research papers and oral presentations and delivering lectures at various national and international conferences. Currently, she provides lectures and hands-on seminars in Romania. Additionally, she conducts similar sessions internationally. Moreover, her focus is on Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
